Hi, my name is Duke, I have the face of a lab mix, the coloring of a rhodesian ridgeback, and a very unique curly tail, I'm around 2-4 years old. I can be a little fearful around men, but I am friends with a male volunteer here at the rescue, so I know I can learn to trust them. I love to play with other dogs and I love treats too. I also love it when the volunteers take me for runs along side their bikes as I have a lot of energy and love to exercise. Take a chance on me-I can't wait to meet you!
An approved adoption application is required. The $185 adoption fee (payable by cash only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; dental teeth cleaning (if needed prior to adoption); vaccinations; and heartworm testing. Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
